Have you ever tried to make biscuits from scratch? Well since we are at home with all this “free time”, my husband and I decided to try it. I will say that we made them but it was a mess and we vowed not to try it again. As we shared our biscuit story with our neighbors, the Hambys, Mrs. Hamby gave me her quick rolls recipe to try.

Needless to say, this recipe was a lot easier to make and without all the mess so now I want to share it with you.

Quick Rolls

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups self-rising flour
  • 1/4 cup mayonaise
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. sugar

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400°F. Mix all ingredients together. In a well greased muffin pan, fill each half way with mixture. Bake for 15 – 20 minutes. Makes 12 rolls.
