Do you binge watch TV series? I know I am guilty of doing it more than once. What makes you want to binge out on shows? The best shows get people emotionally attached to the story and the characters. I have actually binged watched a few of these a couple of times because I enjoyed them so much. The worst feeling is when a great show gets cancelled too early or it is has ended but you feel like there should have been more.
Some of the shows listed are older, ended or been canceled but they all are worthy of watching. Please make sure you look at the TV rating before watching them because the language used and/or situations are not suitable for children.
If you are looking for shows to binge watch then here is a list that will keep you wanting more:
- The Walking Dead – When Rick Grimes wakes up, the world has changed, his family is gone and the zombies have taken over. Throughout the series Rick finds his family and leads his group to find a safe place to rebuild but where is there a safe place?
- Game of Thrones – Everyone believes they have a claim as the rightful heir to the Iron Throne. Houses will fall and rulers will rise. Winter is coming for them all so in the end there can only be one ruler.
- Vikings – Fighting to keep his rule as he is exploring new lands Ragnar will do whatever it takes to lead and protect his people the Viking way.
- Justified – U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens is not the text book marshal. Growing up in Kentucky, Raylan has his own backwoods way of dealing with criminals and his own demons.
- Stranger Things – Neighborhood kids find a new friend that has powers beyond their imagination but they want to protect her from the people who are after her.
- Fear the Walking Dead – A spin-off from the Walking Dead but with this crew, they are able to make it to the ocean to get away, only to find that there is no where to hide from the zombies.
- Burn Notice – Ex spy Michael Westen has been burned and as he struggles to clear his name, he keeps getting in some unruly situations.
- The 100 – After living in space for years, due to a nuclear apocalypse on Earth, a team of 100 young adults are sent down to see if the planet is habitable. They find out that there is others that survived the apocalypse too.
- Knightfall – Knights Templar are the keeper’s of the “Holy Grail” but the grail was lost and now it must be found. You must follow the clues to find the grail before anyone else can.
- Dallas – Follow the drama and trials of the great oil business of the Ewing’s family. Every body is after the money and the rich oil fields.
- Falling Skies – Earth is being invaded by aliens and they are using kids to do their bidding. Humans are loosing the battle until another alien group comes to help, but can they be trusted?
- V – Aliens that come in peace looking to get some of Earth’s resources in exchange for advanced technology but later the humans find out what the true motive is.
- Longmire – Walt Longmire is Sheriff in a town out in Wyoming. While dealing with the local crimes he also has to deal with the crooked owner of the casino from the nearby Indian reservation.
- Nip/Tuck – This series follows the crazy and extraordinary lives of 2 plastic surgeons while they rise and fall in the medical field.
- Breaking Bad – Walter White decides that being a chemistry teacher isn’t cutting it so he decides to enter the world of making meth. The drug business isn’t always so kind as he finds out along the way.
- American Horror Story – The actors usually stay the same but the roles change because each season has it’s own crazy story to tell. Any weird horror story that you can imagine can probably be found in one of the seasons or a new season to come.
- Bates Motel – The extended story of Norman Bates. This story explains the events that cause Norman to have the psychotic episodes. His mother does her best to protect him but who is protecting her?
- Reign – Queen Mary destined to marry Francis to become Queen of both Scotland and France. With a murderous mother-in-law, Queen Elizabeth of England and other enemies at her door – who can she trust to help her rule?
- Outsiders – Set in Kentucky, the Farrells are famous for being anti-social with the modern world. They live on top of the mountain that the new coal company is wanting to mine. This is Farrell land and no one is taking it away without a fight.
- Hell on Wheels – Working for the railroad isn’t an easy job, especially for Cullen Bohannon because he is also searching for the soldiers that killed his wife and son during the war.
