Thanksgiving is around the corner. It’s all about giving thanks, gathering with friends & family and of course food. Courtesy of Limoneira and Limoneira’s spokesperson, Megan Roosevelt, I get to share with you this quick and easy, recipe that you can share with your family this Thanksgiving.
Orange Hazelnut Pumpkin Pie
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cup (15 oz. can) of canned pumpkin
- 1/2 cup chopped hazelnuts
- 2 Tbs coconut oil
- 1/3 cup Limoneira Navel Orange Juice
- 1/2 cup coconut sugar
- 3 Tbs cornstarch
- 2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
Directions:
- Pour all dry ingredients into a bowl and mix well.
- Add the wet ingredients into the dry and mix well once again.
- Pour the mixture to a pre-baked pie crust.
- Top with hazelnuts.
- Bake at 350° F for 1 hour.
- Enjoy!
