Thanksgiving is around the corner. It’s all about giving thanks, gathering with friends & family and of course food. Courtesy of Limoneira and Limoneira’s spokesperson, Megan Roosevelt, I get to share with you this quick and easy, recipe that you can share with your family this Thanksgiving.

Orange Hazelnut Pumpkin Pie

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cup (15 oz. can) of canned pumpkin
  • 1/2 cup chopped hazelnuts
  • 2 Tbs coconut oil
  • 1/3 cup Limoneira Navel Orange Juice
  • 1/2 cup coconut sugar
  • 3 Tbs cornstarch
  • 2 tsp pumpkin pie spice

Directions:

  1. Pour all dry ingredients into a bowl and mix well.
  2. Add the wet ingredients into the dry and mix well once again.
  3. Pour the mixture to a pre-baked pie crust.
  4. Top with hazelnuts.
  5. Bake at 350° F for 1 hour.
  6. Enjoy!
