As the colder weather is approaching, it’s important to give your immune a boost. Courtesy of Limoneira and Limoneira’s spokesperson, Megan Roosevelt, I get to share with you this quick and easy, immune boosting recipe to start your day off on the right foot.

Immune Boosting Lemon Muesli Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 c. of rolled oats
  • 1 Limoneira classic lemon
  • 1/3 c. of sliced almonds
  • 1/3 c. of pumpkin seeds
  • 3/4 c. of flaked coconut
  • 1/2 c. dried berries
  • 1/2 tsp. ginger powder
  • 1/4 tsp. sea salt

Directions:

  1. Pour oats, almonds, pumpkin seeds, coconut, berries, ginger powder and salt in a bowl.
  2. Add the zest and juice from the lemon into the bowl.
  3. Mix well and spread onto a baking sheet.
  4. Bake at 350° F for 15 minutes.
  5. Enjoy!
