Who doesn’t love cheesecake and this one is about as simple as it gets. Straight from my momma’s cookbook and in her handwriting.

My momma loved to cook especially during the holidays. She always had a new dessert or recipe that she wanted to try out. We were never disappointed and there was always plenty to eat. Granny Gail was what my kids always called her and to honor her memory and her love for us….I came up with the title Granny Gail’s 3-step cheesecake.

 

Granny Gail’s 3-Step Cheesecake

2 – 8 oz. packages of cream cheese

1/2 cup – sugar

1/2 tsp. – vanilla

2 – eggs

1 – graham cracker crust

Heat oven to 350.

Mix cream cheese and sugar in a mixer to blend. Add the vanilla and eggs.

Once blended, pour into the pie crust.

Bake in the oven for about 40 minutes or until center is almost set. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours.

(Mix, pour and bake…refrigerate!)
