As the colder weather is approaching, it’s important to give your immune a boost. Courtesy of Limoneira and Limoneira’s spokesperson, Megan Roosevelt, I get to share with you this quick and easy, immune boosting recipe to start your day off on the right foot.
Immune Boosting Lemon Muesli Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 c. of rolled oats
- 1 Limoneira classic lemon
- 1/3 c. of sliced almonds
- 1/3 c. of pumpkin seeds
- 3/4 c. of flaked coconut
- 1/2 c. dried berries
- 1/2 tsp. ginger powder
- 1/4 tsp. sea salt
Directions:
- Pour oats, almonds, pumpkin seeds, coconut, berries, ginger powder and salt in a bowl.
- Add the zest and juice from the lemon into the bowl.
- Mix well and spread onto a baking sheet.
- Bake at 350° F for 15 minutes.
- Enjoy!
