Renew your spirit each day with prayer meditation reading the Bible and affirmations

Situations and people have an impact on our spirit. This impact can have either a positive or negative effect. Even the simplest of conversations can bring about negative emotions and thoughts. If our spirit is not good, then we can’t be of any service to others.

Have you ever met someone that just hates their job? If so, then you know that you only have two choices: stay away from them or pray that they don’t take it out on you. Now think about your spirit and if you have a negative spirit how it will affect others around you. That is why it is so important to pray for a renewed spirit each day.

These 5 verses remind us to renew our spirit:

KJV

Ephesians 4:23-24 “And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.”

Colossians 3:10 “And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:”

Romans 7:6 “But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.”

Psalms 51:10 “Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.”

2 Corinthians 4:16 “For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.”

How to use these verses daily:

  • Create a daily prayer that includes the words holiness, renewed spirit, a clean heart and to be a new person through God’s righteousness.
  • Use them as daily affirmations for a renewed spirit. For example, “Today my spirit is renewed. I serve with a clean and loving heart.”
  • Meditate daily on the words of each verse and what it means to you to have a renewed spirit.

Remember that God wants us to serve out of love and to do that, we need to have a renewed spirit each day. For a full list of verses where spirit appears in the Bible visit: https://www.kingjamesbibleonline.org/search.php?hs=1&q=spirit.

  4. I was just looking for this info for a while. After 6 hours of continuous Googleing, finally I got it in your website. I wonder what’s the lack of Google strategy that don’t rank this kind of informative sites in top of the list. Usually the top sites are full of garbage.
