Sunflower fields

This was the first year that Little Cane Creek Farm hosted the Sunflower Festival. Sun, fun and sunflowers everywhere!

There were swings, slides and inflatables for the kids to play on. Here is my son, Houston, pushing my granddaughter, Talia, on the swings.

As you walk along the variety of sunflowers, there were signs posted about each of the sunflower displays. You can even purchase a ticket to walk through the exotic sunflower exhibit.

Talia and Houston got to pet a few rabbits and a chicken at one of the vendors set up at the festival.

With picture perfect photo opportunities, tractor rides and scheduled music performances this festival has plenty of things to do and see.

You get a free sunflower with the purchase of your ticket but one word of advice: make sure if you don’t buy a pail with your ticket ~ bring one with you or you will have to make sure the little bag of water they give you don’t spill on your way home…..just saying.

We look forward to visiting Little Cane Creek farm in the fall for the corn maze. If you get a chance to visit the festival this year, come back and leave a comment about your experience. Sign up to receive a weekly email from Ssouthernlifestyle and as always have a blessed day!
