Christmas is almost here and if you are anything like me, you need a spirit boost to get you through the holidays.

 Here is a list of 5 ways to bring a boost of Christmas spirit:

1)Listen to some Christmas music or watch your favorite Christmas movie. You don’t have to binge watch Christmas movies or listen to Christmas music everywhere you go but just a little can go a long way for boosting your spirit.

2)Decorate. Once again you don’t have to go full blown Christmas around the house but just enough that you smile when you look at it. You don’t have to go overboard because that alone can bring unwanted stress.

3)Make some lists of what you need to get through the holidays. A list of things you need to clean. A list of recipes and ingredients you will need for holiday cooking. A list of people you plan on giving presents to. Lists can lower you anxiety levels and help you be prepared.

4)Take a day of rest for yourself. Relax and meditate to bring about positive vibes. Buy a candle that reminds you of Christmas and let it fill your home. Take a day to just do something you enjoy because it will renew your spirit.

5) Donate. Giving back is one of best ways to boost your Christmas spirit. No matter if you give the gift of money, toys or food, it will fill your heart to give.
