Located at 103A Regency Commons Drive in Greer, SC, The Saltz Medical Spa is where I found the Himalayan Salt Cave.
As I arrived the reception area was both beautiful and inviting. The receptionist checked me in, showed me to the salt cave room and a locker that was available to put my personal belongings.
In a room big enough for 5 guests, I sat down in the zero gravity chair and began to soak in the dry-salt environment. From the floors to the walls, I noticed a light powdery salt covered the room. (How did I know it was powdery? I couldn’t resist touching the walls to see.) The tranquil music played in the background as I watched the lights change color on the ceiling. How relaxing was this! I spent forty-five minutes of just enjoying the soothing environment and soaking up the salt.
When my time was over, I was kind of sad to leave the calming space. Walking out of the room, I did notice that the air seemed much cleaner and crispier than before. I was amazed that just one visit could open up my airways so much. It was definitely a new experience for me.

Will I visit the salt cave again? Sure will and I am already making plans on taking a few friends with me on my next visit to The Saltz Medical Spa. We may even try out some of the other services offered like massages, facials, the Himalayan salt sauna, manicures/pedicures, waxing and more!
